Leonard Peters is a Dutch filmmaker, interdisciplinary artist and researcher, currently doing his MFA in film at HDK-Valand art academy (SE). He holds a BA of the Maastricht Academy of Interdisciplinary Arts (NL), and studied piano and singing at the Maatricht Institute of Performative Arts. He is passionate about landscapes in relationship to memory, and audio-visually exploring nature-relationships.

'De mens in Niemandsland' (Mankind in Nomansland, 2021, interdisciplinary film concert) - Nominated for Limburg Film Pitch 2021. In collaboration with : Cinesud Talent Hub, Hoge Veluwe National Park and the Maastricht Theatre School.

'Niemandsland' ('Nomansland', 2021, music album) - Solo album, piano and vocals. Language: Dutch.

'De vertaler' ('The Translator', 2020, short film) - Premiere at Lumière Cinema Maastricht (NL). - A young woman wanders through the desolate landscapes of Switzerland and France. A poetic story about youth trauma.
