About the film
A human figure dressed in white wanders through the snowy, desolate landscapes of the Swiss–French mountains. A voice reads a letter to The Translator, reflecting on a shared past. The film unfolds at a slow pace, working with long takes inspired by Andrei Tarkovsky. The narrative is based on experiences from my early childhood and marks an early exploration of my relationship with nature. Is nature something we look at, or are we part of it? By making this film, I wanted to become part of the landscape and allow the human figure to merge with it.
